These two were pure sweetness, and their parents were an absolute joy to work with! Can’t wait for them to see the rest!

Little Zoe sure kept us busy during her portrait session — I don’t think her parents will ever forget her modeling debut (and neither will I)! Let’s just say that she broke some serious records here at the studio! hahaha!!!  Seriously, though, she has the sweetest disposition.  So completely content.

It has been a busy but great last two weeks around the studio. I just wanted to share with you what has been going on. Have a great July 4th!

A quick post before the weekend.  Wow, has it been busy here!  Busy, in a good way of course!

Meet baby “E” and her big brothers and sister. They’re all such cuties!

The floods have ravaged so many areas over the past few weeks, including our home town. Shawn & I grew up in Jefferson. We still have family & friends that live there. It’s difficult to see what’s happening, and to contemplate what the aftermath will be once the water recedes. I, myself, have lived through the devastation of a house fire as a child. When thinking of these floods, my mind mind keeps going back to that time, when family and friends helped us in so many ways. Food, clothes, shelter. I learned many valuable lessons from that experience, including the true definition of a “support system”, and a “community”. But what happens when your entire support system, your entire community is devastated like this?

The image below is South Main Street. The round red sign in both pictures is the Dairy Queen. Shawn & I both remember our parents taking us there as kids. We’ve taken our own kids there when visiting our parents. We both gasped as we saw these images.

I hope that somehow this town is provided with the help that they need so that they can repair or rebuild. This is just unimaginable…

….these two seriously could not have been any sweeter! They were both all smiles for me, exactly as you see here. Their dad said they are pretty much always like this — happy and content. I think they should bottle it for the rest of us!
